Back at Oasis of Hope

I'm back in Mexico for another round of treatment.  This time my mother-in-law is with me.  It's great seeing her again and having her come with me on this trip since Simon couldn't come.  An added benefit is that she speaks Spanish (and I don't) so she has been able to communicate easily with the staff.  She's making new friends already!!

We are "settled" in to our room ready for treatment to begin tomorrow morning.  Please continue to pray the treatments go well.  Praise the Lord I've been feeling great the last few weeks (only a bit of nausea from the chemo).  My CT scan (done a few days ago) showed the tumors haven't grown in size or spread--which is an answer to prayer.  I'm continuing to faithfully pray that complete healing will take place.

I've been reading lately a devotional called "Praying through Cancer" and it has been a real encouragement to me.  A few days ago I read about wanting the "Big C" (Christ, that is) to conquer the "little c" (cancer).  What a great perspective...with Christ all things are possible!!
