Spending time with the family....

In this blog, I would like to give a shout out to my good friend, Nicki, who has been faithfully checking my blog to find out if I have posted more updates!!  I've been spending time with my family and time has just gotten away from me so I haven't had the chance. :)

We are in Orlando.  The whole family is here and we are having a great time.  We came here straight from Mexico (my treatments went well) and we head home this coming Sunday.  We were able to go to Disney on Monday, take family pictures, the girls went shopping today while the boys went golfing and many more fun things too.

Round 3!!

We finally made it to Mexico!  Our flight was supposed to leave Monterey at 10:30am and was delayed due to weather, therefore causing us to miss our connecting flight in San Francisco.  So, they re-routed us through LA instead making us leave Monterey around 1:00pm.  We made it to LA, then our flight to San Diego was overbooked, so we took a voucher for $400 because the attendant said there was another flight leaving for San Diego 30 minutes later.  We then found out after taking that "deal" that the flight was delayed by a few hours.  We didn't end up leaving LA until around 8:45pm bringing us into San Diego at around 9:30pm.  Simon and I laughed about it because we could have drove to San Diego faster--but at least we made it here safely and I am ready to begin round 3 of treatments.

I had lab work done this morning and saw the doctor as well.  They are going to do a bone scan and a chest x-ray but overall things are going really well.  At the moment, I am feeling really well too!! 

I'm excited because when we finish my treatment here, we head to Orlando to see my family.  I will get to meet my newest niece, Evy Noelle and spend time with all of my family (well almost all of them, everyone except for Lanissa, Matt & Austin).  Plus, I get to see my other new niece, Lanae Richelle--and yes, I plan on spoiling all of them like a good auntie should do!!
