Answered prayer & a time to give thanks!

I have gone through 3 chemo treatments so far and have been tolerating the treatments very well.  Before I started this new round of chemo my cancer levels were around 2600.  After my first treatment, the levels increased to around 3200 (which is normal and what we knew was going to happen).  I just got back from seeing my doctor tonight and he told me that if my levels were down to 3100 he would be happy with the way the treatment is going......my levels were at 1450!!  This is over a 50% reduction in my tumor markers---Praise the Lord for answered prayers!!!  He (and Simon and I) were very excited to hear these good results.  What a blessing!!!  With Thanksgiving right around the corner we have so much to be thankful for....

For Thanksgiving this year we are headed to Orlando (Simon has a training with the Navy) so I am tagging along with him.  We will be able to celebrate Thanksgiving with my grandma, Matt, Lanissa & Austin.  :)  It will be great being able to spend some time with them as well.  My doctor gave me the a-ok to fly down there since I am doing & feeling so good right now.  We are grateful that we will be able to spend the holiday with my family as well--another blessing!!!

Thank you for all your continued prayers--please keep them up.  I hope all of you have a blessed Thanksgiving--we all have so much to be thankful for.

Till next time...God bless~
