The 2nd greatest Christmas present.....

I had a follow up appointment with my doctor last night and MORE GOOD NEWS.....my cancer levels continue to drop.  Last time my levels were at 1450....this time they have dropped almost 700 more points....my levels are now at 758.  Praise the Lord for answered prayer!  This is a wonderful Christmas present that the Lord has given to me.  It's the 2nd greatest present--the 1st greatest gift was when he sent His son, Jesus--the true meaning of Christmas.

It's almost Christmas.....

What a fun time I've had the last couple of weeks!  Simon and I went to Orlando for Thanksgiving and were able to spend the week with my grandma.  We enjoyed a yummy turkey dinner with all the fixins' and enjoyed the time we were able to spend with her as well.  My good friend, Tracey, drove all the way from Pensacola with her husband and daughter to see me (it had been 5 years since we had seen each other).  We were able to spend the afternoon with her and her family and go out to dinner.  It was great being able to see her and catch up.

The week after Thanksgiving we headed to Homosassa, FL (where Lanissa, Matt & Austin live).  I spent the week with them while Simon had to attend a class in Orlando.  His days were not fun (7:00am-9:00pm in a classroom every day) but I had a great time with the family!  We played games, went shopping, and just hung out and relaxed.  I finished most of my Christmas shopping while I was there as well!!

We are now back home.  I had another round of chemotherapy today and overall I have been feeling really good the last couple of weeks--Praise the Lord!!  We are praying my cancer numbers will continue to drop and that a complete healing in my body will take place (sooner rather than later :) )

God is good!
