Just a quick update on me.....

I've had some really bad lower back pain this past week.  I've tried everything from going to the chiropractor, hot baths, hot & cold compresses, stretching, ibuprofen, muscle relaxers and even had to take some Vicoden because the pain was so severe.  The muscles in my lower back are extremely tight which in turn is making me have on and off again headaches as well.  I have an appointment tomorrow to see a physical therapist so hopefully they will be able to relieve some of the pain for me.  I think the majority of the pain is coming from our bed....so last weekend Simon and I broke down and bought a Sleep Number bed.....I am counting down the days until it arrives! 

Other than the pain in my back things are going well for us.  Simon will be talking with his detailer in the next few weeks to see where our next duty station might be.  He might even have the chance to stay here in Monterey and get his doctorate.  We are headed to Vegas in a few weeks (Simon has a conference with the Navy there so I am "tagging" along) and then we will head to Colorado to spend some time with Simon's family as well.  Always travelling.......

My cancer levels continue to slowly drop. Just got the most recent ones and they are down to 1518 (from over 2000). Keep the prayers coming! I'm praying for the day to see them in the "normal" range!
