We are back in California! We have been gone two weeks....the first week we were in Las Vegas (Simon had a conference with the Navy so I tagged along). It was fun but very, very HOT! The temperature got to 111 one day when we were there. I ended up by the pool for a majority of the time :)
From Vegas we went out to Colorado to see Simon's family. We had a great time with all of them. It was good to be able to see family & friends and just relax a bit. It never seems like it is long enough....we didn't want to leave but wanted to be back home as well. It was a long drive home....18.5 hours and only two stops (well, three if you count the cop pulling Simon over :) ).
I'm continuing to feel well (praise the Lord). Your continued prayers are appreciated!
