Happy Easter to all of you!  A quick update:  I started my oral chemotherapy a little over a week ago.  For the most part, I'm doing well and tolerating it nicely; however, I have had a bit of nausea which comes and goes.
I was at my doctor's office a few days ago (to get an injection) and I about passed out on my poor nurse.  I got very lightheaded and had to sit down and take it easy for a while.  It was a little bit embarrasing but it was either that or having them pick me up from off the floor and make me smell amonia (which thankfully they did not have to do).  Once it passed, I was fine and went on with the rest of my day.  I'm very thankful that for the most part I am tolerating the medicine well.  I know it could be much worse!!
I'm looking forward to our upcoming Europe trip.  I still have so much I need to do before we leave.  We have our airline tickets and hotels booked--only a few more days till I'm in Italy!!
I hope everyone that reads this blog has a wonderful Easter!  I'm very thankful that Jesus died on the cross for my sins, but more importantly that He rose again and is living in heaven!
"One Day"
One day when heaven was filled with his praises,
One day when sin was as black as could be,
Jesus came forth to be born of a virgin—
Dwelt amongst men, my example is he!
Living, he loved me; dying, he saved  me;
Buried, he carried my sins far away;
Rising, he justified freely, for ever:
One day he's coming—O, glorious day!
One day they led him up Calvary's mountain,
One day they nailed him to die on the tree;
Suffering  anguish, despised and rejected:
Bearing our sins, my Redeemer is he!
One day they left him alone in the garden,
One day he rested, from  suffering free;
Angels came down o'er his tomb to keep vigil;
Hope of the hopeless, my Saviour is he!
One day the grave could conceal him no longer,
One day the stone rolled away from the door;
Then he arose, over  death he had conquered;
Now is ascended, my Lord evermore!
One day the trumpet will sound for his coming,
One day the skies with his glories will  shine;
Wonderful day, my beloved ones bringing;
Glorious Saviour, this Jesus is mine!
